COVID-19 has Signalled the Next Big Battleground: Enterprise Collaboration

As the number of COVID-19 cases continues to grow globally, enterprise collaboration apps that enable employees to work from home has seen increased traffic and demand as companies are now realizing the importance of working remotely after lockdowns started being enforced. We believe that the virus has catalyzed a shift towards digital services and enterprise collaboration will be a major benefactor.

Tencent and Alibaba are currently leading the space with WeChat Work and DingTalk, both apps having launched years in advance. However, competition is heating up as major tech players like Huawei, Baidu, and ByteDance have already forayed into the industry in hopes of taking a chunk of a market that's forecast to reach RMB 65.4 billion by 2021.
